Well I think I can id cracker Jacks pretty well.

Can I get people thoughts on this auction?

The card just doesn't look right to me and the guy has tons of PSA cards.

Thoughts?

Is that a pencil mark at the top (or really bottom) on the back. Looks like an erased mark of some kind by the '98' on the back - probably why he didn't have it graded.

Card looks like a reprint to me.

If you're curious, make note of the ID of the buyer and seller, then check to see how their feedback turns out.

authentic, bleached (or scanner sets were screwed with). Also looks maybe trimmed. Definately authentic though.

The "too" red coloring, and "Cracker Jack" edges look fuzzed, back too bright and clean. I'm guessing possibly bleached to remove the ink on card back.

It appears that the uniform does not blend into the border. The colors are in contrast. It looks like the red background in the lower right does not match up with the player's image.

What always throws red flags up for me is when a seller with mostly graded cards has 1 or 2 really nice nice cards that aren't graded. Makes me assume that they were rejected other wise he would send them in.

I'm guessing it is bleached, that is one white card, and I think the bidders knew that something was up.

I think that's just because there is a shade of gray in the player's uniform, the white in the uniform matches the borders. I think the card is definitely authentic - just possibly altered.

May be worth taking a chance though - if you can get it in a 7 or 8 holder, you're looking at a nice little profit. The mark on the back still scares me though.
