I recently picked up this E254 of Harry Hinchman (as listed in the guides). After comparing the Colgan's to Harry's (Toledo) T206 and brother Bill's (Cleveland)T206; I believe that it is actually Bill pictured on the E254. Bill was 5'11", 190 while Harry was the same height but only weighed in at 165. The Hinchman pictured on the Colgan's definitely appears stockier. I was only able to pinpoint Bill playing with Columbus in 1914, but his major league record has a gap between 1910-1914. Obviously nothing of great importance, but the kind of thing that makes our hobby a bit more interesting. Opinions and info appreciated. |
