I don't know why I was thinking about it, but do you think the grading companies send the flips from cards they have crossed over back to the original company a)in order to help maintain accurate population counts or b)to show the other company how many of their slabs are being crossed over or c)do they just toss them? |

My guess would be either they keep them to show how many crossovers they have or they toss them. I doubt they send them back for accuracy's sake, though that would be nice and best for the hobby. |
