I can't believe the prices some people are paying for T206's. Maybe I am way off on what these cards are valued. I would put a value of $250 on this card. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Bill

I remember commons in the 3-6 dollar range. I understand your confusion. It's all numbers now.

T206 common prices for 7's in GAI, PSA and SGC are all now up in the $600 to $1250 range and have been for some time now. This makes the SMR and catalogs way of fthe market in prices for these cards.

I understand that SGC 84 T206s are not "common", but paying $748 for a T206 "common" graded SGC 84 seems crazy to me. But then look at the prices of caramel beaters. The market is what it is.

However, anyone who paid $748 for a T206 Jordan graded SGC 84 thinking it will be worth more than $748 in ten years might be unpleasantly surprised (remember, there is another direction that the market can go in).

Well heeled collectors will lay down huge sums of cash for fantastic condition commons, setting standards for pricing that most collectors can never even appoach..But thats life! and thats why I go for good looking low grade T206's..I love them just the same and maybe just a little bit more..

Not surprising...but a bit depressing. I hate to talk about the "good old days" but collecting was definitely more enjoyable 10+ years ago. Unless you are in for the $, it ruins everything.
