I would like to have this information too. I might be able to win one in an auction. |

i'd say the e103 is tougher than the e94, and the e106 is certainly scarcer than the e98, maybe even a few more spots up. the e95 is common, but due to the great pose and lithograph it's a popular card. anybody have or got a scan of an e92 nadja cobb? i'd like to see that one. |

Wes, this doesn't have anything to do with two VG Cobb Es ending today does it? |

the crofts cocoa and the nadja are probably tied for two. i collect them and have seen less then five of both cards combined |

I would guess that a VG slabbed 101 is worth $2500! Actually that's what the BVG 3 just closed at. |

times they are a changin' brian...i would think the e102 was viewed as more desireable because of the 1908 dating. Now that it's been proven the set was probably issued sometime around mid 1910, the shine has been taken off somewhat. i had been looking for an e102 cobb for years believing it was his rookie card, but now i'd probably want an e92 croft or nadja because it's so damn tough. |

In the last 5 years it seems that almost all of the e102 Cobb's I have seen have been very low condition(except for BCD,s) and a couple of others. I think it is a hard card to get in even vg. or better. |

Quan, I completely agree. What attracted me most to the 102 Cobb was the 1908 date, I don't consider PCs cards and I didn't like the then "1907" W555. Now it appears that several different issues (T206, several E's) can all be considered his rookie. |

The E101 Cobb that sold on ebay tonight was graded by Beckett. I think if the card were in a PSA holder, the price would have been more than $3200 easily. Very nice pickup for the winner. |

Many months went by this summer with no E93 Cobbs showing up on Ebay. One finally appeared, went for a pretty price and nearly a half dozen showed up in 2-3 months that followed. |

as far as the crofts cocoa is concerned the last card sold that i know of was in poor condition and went for 5k in a private sale. at auction the card would have gone higher |

there's no documented dockman cobb...next one you see will be the first, and should go for big bucks. but then again it'll also be a fake or rebacked, since there's no dockman cobb. |

not as many graded as the e102 wagner...3 throwing and 6 batting (this is psa). generally you'll see more batting pose than the throwing variation. sgc don't distinguish between throwing/batting but there's been 6 graded wagner e101s and 16 e102s. |

As far as graded population for Cobb cards, the PSA and the SGC population reports show the following: |

Even though some of the cards seem to have much higher populations, there is almost no comparison to populations for tobacco cards. |

I was bidding on both of those Cobb cards graded by Beckett and had decided to bid higher, but got cold feet because of the grading company. Questions and concerns from board members about possible trimming and overgrading scared me away. |

Ah, didn't realize that there is no Cobb Dockman. I was just trying to extrapolate based on relative scarcity of the sets. I guess 1500 would be a steal then |
