T201 Mecca Double Folder Question(s)

Hello all,

I am surprised that the t201 Mecca Double Folder set doesn't receive more interest. It seems to be quite underappreciated in price and beauty. Is there a reason for such lack of interest? Additionally, where does t201 rank in terms of being one of the first to issue stats on the back of cards?

The Mecca cards were long underappreciated in the hobby. However, since the grading card boom has hit the T201 have commanded extremely high prices in nice shape. There have been commons graded 8's that have commanded upwards of $1000-2000. However in lesser conditions these cards are good values, for what you get.
