Why does anyone do this? I'm seeing several of the Leland Josh Gibsons for sale on ebay, some of them slabbed by SGC. And they get bids! If I draw some doodles of Babe Ruth on a 3 by 5 inch piece of cardboard, can I get them slabbed by a grading company? The can even stamp "Doodle" on them, as long as they get slabbed. Somebody will buy them, I think. Ach, I'm just crotchety because I got shut out on all the Toleteros' this morning. I guess I'm gnome-ing. |
