Has anyone ever seen this Pirate Tin before? It's pretty cool looking although a tad rusty. I wonder if packs came in it that contained cards, or more importantly, baseball cards? regards all |

Pretty cool. What is the deal with these cards anyway? I know they were distributed overseas, but are they really that tough to find? Have any come up for sale recently? |

I found the combination of Latin and Germanic derivative words very interesting. |

Literally it means: TAKES THERE A WITH, which probably is an expression like "take it with you", or "take one with you". It is indeed Dutch. |

That is a holder for catalogs of Pirate Cigarette stuff. Gratis, meaning free and the Dutch words, NEEMT ER EEN MEE, meaning take one, together provide the information that it probably sat on a counter and was filled with small pamphlets or papers that showed what was offered by the company. |
