OJ Question

I am sure this has been discussed before, so my apologizes for covering old ground. But, as someone new to OJ's - could someone tell me how much variance is to be expected on the size. I have several raw OJ's in my possession, and the size variance is much more than I am used to with other pre-war issues I've handled, particularly top to bottom. A few of them have clearly been trimmed (missing border or part of the caption). However, many others do not appear to me to be trimmed, just inconsistent on the size. In fact, no two of these cards seem to be identical in size. Any feedback is apprectiated. Thanks.
