I recently got back my order from SGC. As many of you know, the Exhibit cards from the late 1920s frequently have corner coupons attached that were clipped off and collected for premiums. SGC refused to grade a corner-clipped 1928 PCL exhibit, claiming that there wasn't enough card left. The corner clip takes off roughly 5% of the card. Now, my issue is this: (1) does anyone else have a graded exhibit card with a corner missing? (2) is it appropriate to refuse to grade the exhibit w/the coupon removed when cards like Zeenuts and Red Man Tobacco are routinely graded w/o the coupons? |
