About 5-10 years ago I read an article about a baseball museum, owned/operated by Joel Platt. I think it was somewhere in Florida. Has anyone ever been there? What is/was it like? |

I've actually been to Joel's house- he lived a couple of blocks from my dad in Boca Raton. I also went once to his museum. In both cases, there wasn't a lot of vintage stuff to see. For example, the museum advertises that they have a T206 Wagner, but what they have is actually a reprint. I think the majority of his good material is under lock and key. He was a nice guy, though, and I enjoyed visiting him. |
