Old Mill Cigarette Silks

I just found a Fred Snodgrass (NY Giants) at an antique store. It is in incredible shape. I took a chance and bought it for $70. Is anyone aware of any reprints of this issue? I think GAI is the only company that grades these. Does anyone know any different?

I am unaware of reprints of the Silks. As far as I know only GAI has been grading them but you might check the Beckett guys too. Sounds like a nice silk. IF you can post a scan we would love to see it (note reference to "we")......regards

Silks have to be in real nice shape to get a decent grade, and as Leon stated above there are no reprints. I think it would be too difficult and expensive.

Thanks for the feedback. I have sent it in to Beckett for grading. I'll let you know how it comes out.

Here is a pic of my snodgrass silk just back from Beckett grading. I knew they were tough graders but I was expecting a 6 or 7. Ron Atkinson
