Hunt's and Upper Deck Merger?

I saw an interesting discussion last night on the SCD memorabila forum. The topic is about Hunt and Upper Deck merging. It doesn't say if Hunt's was bought exactly, but sounds that way. Anyone know the whole scoop? Below is the link to the SCD forum
