Fidel Castro/Minneapolis Millers Photo

Howdy All!
I have ventured into photo collecting; and since I collect Cuban memorabilia and Minneapolis Millers memorabilia I thought this would be a perfect fit. The problem is I really have no knowledge on dating or authenticating photos. I found a similar photo in the Smithsonian Baseball book on page 169 (Marshall Fogel owns it). Anything I can do to date it or anyone have any insight? The photo measures about 7.25" x 9.5", few creases & has a semi glossy surface and spots that are more of a matte finish (due to wear?).
