Why do Henry's photos get such high prices? Last night an original George Burke of the Waner brothers went for $158, but a similar one of three Tigers, including Cobb and Crawford, sold a week ago for $10 through another seller. A Burke photo of Dimaggio used for his Playball card only got $68 from Lipset a week ago (drats - I didn't use auctionsniper!), but generic Dimaggio photos get enormous prices in Henry Yee auctions. |
