I'm thinking of picking up a vintage bat from a local card store in my vicinity but I was wondering if anyone had seen anything like it. It has the imprint "EST" on the first line; "New York City" on the second and "Crackajack" on the third. The wood looks very old and the knob is rounded - reminiscent of some of the older 1800's bats. The bat is about 32-33" long and probably about 28-30 ounces. Anyone ever seen one and know what a good price to pay would be? The only thing a Google Search pulls up are Crackajack comic books??? Don't currently have any pictures but any info would be appreciated. |
