I recently purchased a Collins-McCarthy card of Harry Heilmann on ebay. At least, the front is a Collins-McCarthy. The back is blank. It is definitely not skinned, just a blank back. I know cards with Collins-McCarthy fronts come with a variety of backs, including Standard Biscuit and Boston Store. But I've never heard of a blank back before. Have any of you heard of a blank back variety of this set? Is there an actual set of these, or is it just a printing error, like a blank back Topps card? |
