As any of you who read the terms and conditions to the auction (NONE?) would know, the auction can end at any time after 2:00AM EDT on Sunday morning. What I just found out today is how this work. At 2:00 any outstanding callbacks will be made. Once all the callbacks are over the auction will end irrespective of the 15 minute rule. Therefore, if you don't get your bidding done by 11:00 PDT you may be shut out. I kinda like this because it takes the West Coast advantage out of bidding and doesn't reward those who can stay up latest. |
