Please look at the PSA 5 1895 N300 Mayo Bill Shindle listed on ebay right now. Does anyone see something missing from the bottom? Where the hell is the Mayo ad??? I can't believe that this could "Slip By". This is getting really bad. Two obviously trimmed 19th century cards graded by PSA on ebay in one week. What is going on. The first was the Sunday PSA 1 with the ad trimmed off and then this. I don't use them for grading but now I'm hesitating buying anything 19th century graded by PSA again. These are not newly found and never graded issues. They should know that all N172's and N300 come with a ad bottom. Is that to hard to remember? I am disgusted. |

You have too wonder if all of the employees of PSA travel to work in one little car. They must because these guys are bunch of clowns! To damn funny. But when you think about its not funny at all. Makes you think how many people spent astronomical money on PSA graded cards that are trimmed right now. This is the company we can thank for making sure us poor stupid hobbyists have some sort of industry standard when it comes to card grading. The good news out of all this is I have been waiting for years to try and get rid of some W517’s with no borders. They were trimmed worthless cards but now I think they should grade out at least PSA 5’s.Thank you PSA! |

A few examples of "errors" by PSA are not enough of a sample size to lose faith in their ability. Sadly the fact is that we are not talking about a few examples, lately. It is hard to have any confidence in a company that has supposedly given the directive in the grading room to put it in a holder as long as it is square. I am sure that there are exceptions to this rule but the general concept is a scary one. I know that many people will not believe this but I was given this information from a former employee of CU. |

Maybe someone popped in a different card after the grading.. Very common practice from our friends out there in Ca. WIWAG right? |

My experience with PSA and Mayos has been simply that they are overly concerned with the backs. I have also had 2 returned that were (unbeknownest to me when I bought them) recolored. |

And the image is down too. It is kind of embarrassing for the seller Mark Perna to not notice the slight oversight by PSA. |

I emailed the seller and suggested he pull the lot. That is probably what happened. |
