He came over this afternoon, bringing me a nice M101-2 Ban Johnson, and looked at my Peck and Snyder. he thinks the combination of a team card, with all members idfentified, of the 1869 Red Stockings, combined with a really great advertising cartoon on the back is--the greatest thing the 19th century produced in the way of baseball cards. I agree. |
