I don't know how much the little doggy is but I can tell you that in 1916 Oxford Confectionery Company sold a box of 400 caramels for 38 cents (wholesale). I know this from a stationery I picked up on ebay recently. Just thought it interesting to see how much the candy sold for that was the impetus for our cards, or caramels in general...I would have posted the pic but I think the Network 54 guys have put a halt to doing pics the way we used to....regards all |
