Sotheby's and eBay now have a partnership. Sotheby's used to have a similar partnership with amazon.com, which was a mistake from the start as amazon's auction are like yahoo's auctions.

But Siriusly, Yahoo vintage card auctions are about as trustworthy as a PRO holder. I check them out every now and then, but it's basically a breeding ground for Tuttle-phytes.

I've had some contact with Sothebys in fine art (mostly modern) and they do a superb job. So I find these lots quite disappointing.
You would think that Sothebys' descriptions would be better than what we've got here. They have these small lots of T cards without always telling you which cards are in them or what condition they are in (or which Tobacco company put them out)
