gypsy queens on ebay--authentic?

Hi all-
I hesitated to post this question because I figured somebody else would eventually, but apparently not. Most of you have probably seen the Gypsy Queens Hornung & Twitchell on ebay--the scans are not great. I just emailed the seller to ask if he can give any assurance that the cards are authentic, or a better scan, or something. I'm just wondering if any of you have opinions, or if there are GQ reprints floating around. Thoughts?

It's hard to tell, but I'de say that these are rebacked real GQs. The cardboard looks too white to be original, but I am unaware of any reprints.
