Now, I haven't really tracked any of the auctions closely in the past 6 months, but are the "partial S" variations still selling strong? It seems to me, anyway, that the biggest red flag for the altered ones are a lack of the entire "S". Though there are (a sparse few) legitimate ones without the S, many have at least a partial S plate coming through on the card... |

"Nodgrass" is not a legitimate variation, it s a printing freak. Its value is to collectors of those kinds of things and if it garners huge sums of money, more power to its owners. Just don't call it a variation. |
