We have had a couple including a Mathewson. We did auction them before it came to light that they were tougher than Drum. |

There are two Broadleaf 460 Joss cards on Ebay now. One is in low grade, but seemingly much more affordable. Jsut thought I'd mention it in case any of you missed it. |

They were all sold by jverri. And they were all purchased on BIN -- by board members nonetheless. There were some initial concerns at first, but I think everyone was pleased with the transactions. After that, all of his BL 460's have had much higher BIN's, etc. |

I keep a copy of the t206museum's "backs multiplier list" taped to the inside cover of my "cut down" SCD catalog. I would love to see the same sort of list for t207s and t205s - I'm sure there is enough expertise on the board to develop such a list. Could we get volunteers for those two card types to solicit additional opinions and put multiplier lists together? |

I am sad to say that I was not one of the purchasers, at the time I did not know what they were worth and passed on one of them |

basically the t206museum put out a price chart, and alot of people complained that some of their prices were way off so they changed prices as they went along.....at first they didnt have special modifier prices for hall of famers, variations and they lumped all the cards into one multiplier for each back example: they had every drum back at 70x which would be ridiculous for some hall of famers(it came out to 4000 for vg hof'ers). I just showed them prices for a few things that i thought were off and they adjusted a few, but they took info from alot of collectors and improved on their first attempt and they seem to be pretty accurate now......i could be of very little help on the t207 or t205's though but i would be interested in the prices |

I am the seller of the Joss BL 460. I also sold the other 460's that were on Ebay a couple of months back. The first group that was listed were listed erroneously. The BIN was supposed to have been $2500., but they posted as $250 BIN. The second group was listed at the intended pricing level. I called these VG+/EX-. As I feel they were. Essentially, these commons went for $1600. - $3200. each. I had 7 in all. Believe it or not, the Joss came from a different source than the others. It is in lesser condition, probably something like G++/VG-/VG, depending on how old school you are about grading (I try to be conservative). Before I even listed the Joss, I spoke with several people, all of whom are "pioneers" in the market, all of whom I admire and respect. The general consensus seems to be that a common that is VG is worth about $1500. - $2000. and a HOFer is worth as much as 3x that. The $8500. list price was unrealistic - intentionally. I wanted to see if posting it would elicit any offers. It did. I then relisted it (it is on Ebay now) at a realistic price ($3500.). These backs are amazingly tough, and a year from now I am sure we will have seen none of these since those I am finishing posting now. The other Joss 460 is listed by a person who acquired one of my 460's, higher grade, as an upgrade. Great guy. Hope this is helpful. |

But like most on this board who know something about vintage cards...you make mistakes to gain the knowledge! Most on here who have been collecting for a while have sellers/traders remorse about piles of deals they made in the past......and yes Doug, I know you do not fib! Amy would crown you ! And james,I know you only wrote that to further advertise your Joss ...but I don't blame you! I would do the same thing.........I sold much better stuff for the square root of the value than the Matty! But the Matty was ex/mt ish!!! I am depressed! |
