Cool baseball sweater - 1924 WS
I love the big sweaters guys wore in the 1910s and 20s. Many great pictures with Matty, Gehrig, others. But I don't recall seeing an in game shot before where a player wore one. Was that common?
Stumbled upon this picture from the 1924 WS on Wikipedia today. How cool is that? According to esteemed Wikipedia, "Likely Giants pitcher Art Nehf sliding in safely at home."
