Default Beckett 7.5 That Looks Like a 2.5??

I recently got some autos back from BAS and everything came as expected except one of the cards I requested dual grading for. I had two 70-71 Jabbar’s signed (one mid-grade, the other was fair). I requested dual grades on the mid-grade and got a 5.5 which was right around what I thought it’d be, however they encapsulated the fair one that should’ve got maybe a 2/2.5 if they were generous. Figured it was a simple mistake that happened during encapsulation and I’m fine with it but eventually will resubmit to correct it.

I was shocked though when I found this Mantle with a 7.5 grade, I’m almost speechless as to how some goon at Beckett could thrown this in such a slab when it’s likely a 2. No offense to the seller at all btw if he’s a member here, I think he’s priced it correctly too imo.

Has anyone else had experiences like this with BAS/BVG? Is this a well known issue with them?
