Wow....you got a steal on this. I took believes it good. It has a couple atypical attributes but I believe it's fine. Whether it passes PSA is anyone's guess. I for one do not need PSA to authenticate it biut if you ever wanted top sell it, people want that in a plastic coffin. If it was already in one it would be at least $600.

I beg to differ with the others on this one. The G s very atypical and the whole signature looks slowly drawn out. When Bill Corcoran was at my house 7 years ago and went through my stuff he rejected some of my Hodges that looked better than that. He passed 98% of my items so he wasn't being overly cautious. Said there were a lot of bad Hodges out there and this is pre HOF

This is why we give our opinions on here. I am not an authenticator but have seen passed Hodges autos that look very much like this one. The first “G” looks different from his 50’s style but in the early 70’s they closely approximated this one. I still think it is authentic but not 100% certain.

I think it's good too, but with that being said PSA rejects a lot of Hodges.

I'm in the minority, but I don't like it either, Robert. The G looks off and the rest does not convince me enough that it is good. Even if it is good, I think a TPA might have problems with it because it doesn't look quite right.

The "G" looks similar to my Hodges.......

The one with tape did not pass PSA authentication FWIW.......
