I've got an interesting one here that I can't solve, maybe someone can clear it up for me.
Bought a lot of 1954 Red Hearts and all look pretty standard (aka beautiful) except for a few. Attaching a picture below of the Al Rosen.. It appears to be hand cut from something, blank back on vintage stock that is very similar to the originals, though slightly thicker, and even has the beautiful vintage aroma to it. Surface has some of the standard indicators of years of love and definitely has all of the hallmarks of not just simply being a fake. I'm thinking it's cut from another box or something of the sort, but would love to hear if anyone else knows. |
