I really like these odd little gems but they are really HTF. Let's see some!

Here's a Diamond Dust...appropriately paper thin and window shade-like.

Interesting how few of these cards have the borders intact. I guess cutting them down was the norm. The TPG pop reports validate that. PSA's total pop on these cards is 32; most are one example, except DiMaggio, Gehringer, Hubbell and Vandermeer, which have two apiece. SGC shows 5 cards: Foxx, Vandermeer, Grove and two DiMaggios. Across both services' 37 graded cards, only three cards received numerical grades: PSA 6 Averill, SGC 3 Vandermeer and Grove.

Camilli is the other Diamond Duster that I have. Please mark it down in the case files as another victim of slenderization.

I haven't seen these offered for quite some time. I'd trade one but it would have to be for something really good.

Those are fantastic. Even a Greenberg. Wow.

They will all get "A"s from the TPGs, as all are missing their borders.

I love these.

Last I remember, no one has unearthed one of the punch boards that contained cards. Has that changed?

I have always wanted to see a board with cards as the common Diamond Dust boards are extremely common. It would be great to know what the grail looks like.

I'm the original owner of these cards. I had around 100 and picked the up in the early 1980's. In 1983 John Spalding from SCD did an article on them. I've sold some off over the years and sent in some for authentication to PSA.
Been trying to find a punchboard that they came from but no luck!

Do you have an image of the continuation of this John Spalding article? I find it interesting that he has identified the images as being the same as those in the (I assume 1939-46) Exhibits sets.

I had owned all the ones that are trimmed. I didn't have the one with the boarder. Whoever had them cut them back in the 1940's. Also had a bunch of w516 Strip cards that were also cut. Came from a collection that was untouched for years with string around them!

Thanks for posting these, and an incredibly nice collection! All of yours seem to have be really fresh looking and have bold colors. And there are multiple players I have never seen an example before.
Impressive.

And it looks like color variations are possible, as my Camilli (earlier in the thread) has an orange background, while your example has a yellow background. Any one else seen color variations before?
