I am seeking recommendations for (mainly) vintage cards with lush greenery/nature/vast skies included in the card. I have started a small collection of such cards that I will attach below to give you an idea. Hopefully you can think of some cards I don't know about. Trying to include cards from a diverse array of sets, years, card types and styles.
reply to the thread or email me if you have any ideas! jchapinswishy@gmail.com 1991 Leaf.jpg Murphy.jpg 1951 Bowman.jpg Fred-Schulte copy.jpg 1953 Bowman.jpg |

Good morning Jackson-
The T206 baseball set is loaded with "nature" backgrounds that are striking. A few examples include the Frank Oberlin, Harry Pattee, and Chief Bender Pitching/Trees in Background cards. Check them out ![]() Trent King |

Can anyone think of any Colorado Rockies cards from the 90's or 00's that features the beautiful mountainside? Thinking along the lines of this 51 Bowman card. Or a d-backs card that features the desert?

Yeah that's a great idea, especially the Pattee. I would go after it if it weren't so similar to my Murphy. I would ideally like to limit this little quest to one card max per set. |

A really gorgeous, yet valueless modern card is a UD of Juan Gonzalez with a huge background of Wrigley Field ivy. It might be a '95? I forget. You'll find it quickly enough online. I may still have an autographed copy of it.

Jackson, most cards in the N284 Buchner Gold Coin set probably fit the description of cards you are seeking. Here's another card from this set plus a few more 19th Century cards that may interest you:

Skies are fairly prominent in these E90-1 American Caramel cards, as well as about half of the 1911 Obak shown. The 1933 George C. Miller cards have a nice generic 'nature' background. And in the low-flying, pedestrian world of non-baseball cards, below is a Sky Birds aviatrix and T218 pedestrian.

Is it green you're looking for??
The 1962 Topps #139 Babe Hits 60 'Green Tint' is the card for you. Man, they turned everything on it leafy green - fans, stanchion, dirt, sock, dugout... 139b.jpg

My interests mostly lie in baseball but I wouldn't be opposed to considering cards from other sports as well.

Several of the 1973 Topps football cards showed Steelers players at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA, with backgrounds of the field and surrounding trees:

This 1953 Bowman card of Enos Slaughter comes to mind for both big sky and a sprinkling of trees (likely palm trees) in the distance.
