Default Deadbeats, Scammers & A T208 Story

While other sites won't be policed too much, if I get wind of someone that is not paying for stuff, or is any kind of a deadbeat, they won't be on Net54baseball any longer. That goes for FB deadbeats too. One person got banned this morning due to a FB post I saw.
If anyone knows of any deadbeats, or non payers, on this forum please let me know. And Have some unequivocal proof too. Thanks in advance.

In other news-

I received an email this morning from a guy that has had a T208 common for the last 44 yrs. It has a crease in the middle of it. I told him the value so we'll see what he wants to do with it. I am not interested in it as I have a type already. More on that later, but here is my T208 type, because every thread should have a nice pre war card in it.

Here is the email I received...

"Good morning Leon. So I found a card in an old wood chest at my grandparents house when I was 8 yrs old and i used to go to card shows a few years later and id always ask the dealers if they had a price guide on my card as I never found a price card back then with my card in it... I put it away in a hard plastic and a few years ago my daughters asked to see some of my cards as I never let them see them before and I found my mystery card and told them back when I found it I couldn't find and information on it and no price guides had it either as the internet wasn't even out yet.. So I told them now w the internet hopefully it can finally tell me alittle about the card. Well I typed in Cullivan's Fireside and all these pages came up stating the rarity of this set and guys posting they'd pay top dollar for them.. With all history of this card I found 44Yrs ago I now thinking of possibly selling it as my oldest daughter is engaged and I will be having to help pay for her wedding. My problem is I don't know how to go about selling it and getting a good price for it. I read a bunch of forums you and other members have wrote and know that you and the other members seem to have alot of knowledge on this set and wanted to reach out to you for your thoughts on my dilemma. Any advise would be much appreciated. I attached a couple pictures of my card. Ive never had it graded but im 110% sure its genuine/original. Last year i actually met a woman that when i told her i had a.card from Syracuse Ny she broke down crying saying Turtle street? Cullivan's Fireside? And i said yes and she explained it was her great grandfathers and uncle ls business and none of the family had ever seen an actual card... She said her cousin had an old advertisement for Cullivan's Fireside framed and on his wall.. i let her take a few pics as she wanted to show her family. Thank you"
