1939 Centennial Of Baseball Stamps Original Artwork Walter Johnson, GC Alexander
These are examples of the original artwork that was used to create the 1939 Centennial of Baseball Stamps. They measure approximately 6x8 inches and are matted. Original artwork or artists proofs from vintage baseball collectibles are almost unheard of. This is a chance to obtain unique pieces of collecting history.
These were originally auctioned off by Lelands in 2008 and garnered over $1,000 for the pair. I am looking to get $1,000 for the Johnson and $700 for the Alexander.
