Several years ago I had mentioned that I thought that the set of cards that fits the format of these photos was issued by Coca-Cola, and this photo is the reason that I thought that.

I had originally this piece about 20 years ago and had thought that the cards (a bit smaller than a standard postcard) might have been issued by Coke

Default 1949-50 Set

Scott, I remember when you said that about the Coca-Cola set and for some time I referred to the set as that. Later I called the set simply the Cuban league set. Some collectors refer to it as the El Cerro Stadium Photocards set because the cards are similar to the Team issued photocards sold at the stadiums in the US.

Leon, Below is the Chuck Connors from the set.

Rolando, You mention in your Catalog that you discovered one wrapped in a Sol de Oro advertisement. Do you have any further information on this set?

It's interesting that Connors' first name is misspelled as "Kelvin," just like on his Acebo card. Could there be a connection between these two sets?
