Does anyone plan on going to this show? I would like to get a few items signed by Ed Kranepool but I can't make it to the show. I am looking for some help from the trusted members of this group. Thanks Tim

Yes...I live in this town. I've gone a few times. $3 to get in and they always have some former player there signing.
If you are looking for vintage though, you will likely be disappointed. There are maybe 2 or 3 Vintage dealers and what I mean by that is some 50's cards and 60's. There may be a Goudey card or two, but that is the exception, not the norm. There was a guy with a Yellow Ruth but he was out of whack at the time with his pricing...as are the rest of the one or two guys with vintage cards. I probably wouldn't waste your time. It is literally only 3 miles from my house and every time I go, I say it is the last time...lol...Of course I'm primarily a pre-war buyer. Hope that helps! JT |

Thanks. Wasn’t planning on being in LBI that weekend and was considering the 2 hr plus drive down to check it out. Doesn’t sound like a good use of a day.

Attended a 100 table show in Sewell, NJ while I was there on vacation this past weekend. One dealer had a bunch of oddball oversize premiums/Jay Publishing/etc. and one or two others had a two row shoebox of late 1960's/1970's baseball. That was it for vintage, a huge waste of time and $5 admission if you ask me. The place was packed and every dealer table sold at $70 per so I guess the show appealed to enough people to make it an ongoing monthly event. Most all attendees had Zion cases, that tells you all you need to know about what kind of an event it was.
