I’ll break the ice. I received a very nice pair of T206s (Sweeney Boston partial double-name and Lobert) and a fun stack of E90-1 reprints. Thank you very much, Secret Santa!

Secret Santa was incredibly kind to me. Stan the Man and Vern Stephens Exhibits. Some 52 and 53 Bowmans and a 53 Topps -- all appropriately St Louis-themed -- and an addition to my new project, a raw T25 set.
I must be on the Nice list, clearly fooling Ol' St Nick. Thank you, Tim! And Merry Christmas, Net54 chums!20231224_204631.jpg Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk |

Honestly, my Secret Santa giftee gets the award for the most intentional gift ever…!
Helped me knock off two more of my 1956 Topps Hall of Famers, then added a few bonus cards in Pudge & Bagwell knowing I was from Texas. Being a Rangers fan, Ivan Rodriguez was and still is my favorite player, so that was awesome! Then, to add some extra, threw in very cool Yount & McCovey items… Even wrote a note detailing every card, why he picked them, and printed off the TCDB for each card so I knew exactly what they were! So thank you to my Secret Santa and the n54 community for being such a blessing to my life! Bonus picture- my two boys, snuggled into the “baseball men” blanket Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone! Matt Galvin

I been so thankful for our Net54 community/members that i was able to acquire/trade some nice cards these last few months.
Hopefully i can complete my UNC Big Head set sooner than hoped for. My Secret Santa also kicked in a nice HoF'er T206 Marquard (at thighs) (thought it was from Donald Trump--coming all the way from NY.)

I just moved off of a Butler that had some issues I wasn't thrilled about, so this is perfect timing to refill that spot in my set-build (love the added character w/ signature on back)...Groom Tolstoi is a great upgrade from my current Polar Bear! Great additions to the binder!
Thank you Secret Santa 🎅 (great job!), thank you Rich for spearheading this. Great way to kick off the day. Merry Christmas to all. |

My Secret Santa supplied me with these extra nice collection additions, topped by the 1940 Play Ball of Johnny Evers, and a couple of cards from less common sets that I have enjoyed picking up examples over the years: the great Fan Craze game card set (Bob Ewing), and the quirky fun 1941 Goudey set (Whitlow Wyatt).
It is always a blast getting surprise vintage cards for Christmas...no family member or friend has ever attempted to do so, so Net54 has always filled that card vacuum quite nicely, and made the Christmas tree seem to sparkle that much more because of the anticipation. And the giving end is a fun and gratifying challenge also. Thanks again Rich for making this happen. My Secret Santa really put a lot of thought and effort into finding a variety of gifts. I realize that Amelia Earhart and Andre the Giant may not appear to have much in common, but I like collecting each of them.
I have long been deep into the Earhart mystery because there are so many different paths one can explore when it comes to her disappearance. Meanwhile, Andre is the only wrestler I collect because he reminds me of going to television tapings as a kid with my father at the Hamburg (Pa.) Fieldhouse. Andre was by far my favorite attraction from those television tapings all those decades ago. The eight different Earhart covers from her hometown of Atchison, Kansas are especially cool. July 24, 1963, was the first day her postage stamp was released. The covers from Atchison are neat because I have communicated in the past with Amelia Earhart Birthplace Museum director Heather Roesch on Facebook about some of the items that were released during Earhart's lifetime. Atchison is huge into maintaining Earhart's legacy. Thank you, Secret Santa
