Jake Daubert help please
a couple of years ago I traded for this Nashville Vols postcard…primarily due to the presence of Hub Perdue and Pryor McElveen
i never paid much attention to the back. is this written in Jake Daubert’s hand? Given that the inscription says “do WE look like champs” and there isn’t another “Jake” on that team…makes sense. or it could be from a fan. Jake was from a little town not far from Dauphin county PA so it’s possible he had relatives there. i found an old Daubert signed ball online and the “Jake” looks similar…but really hard to tell. it’s also similar to the “Jake” on the front of his t205. possible…or just wishful thinking? seems pretty cool even without his last name. thanks in advance for any help
