Default FS/FT: T206 Subject "Kitty" Bransfield (d.1947) Twice-Signed Form (PSA/DNA)

This is a twice-signed employment application completed by William "Kitty" Bransfield to work for Parker Wire Goods Co. Although not dated, given the employment history provided here, looks to have been signed in 1943 or 1944.

Bransfield passed away in 1947, and the following year a collector reached out to the company asking for Bransfield's autograph on any document. The letter requesting the signature is included here as well, and -- as a point of hobby history -- shows the lengths to which collectors have been going to acquire autographs of baseball players for the past 75 years.

The signed application comes with a full PSA/DNA LOA and the wonderful cover letter from Bransfield’s last employer. As you can see from the black spaces in the tears of the paper, there is black tape (perhaps painter's tape) that has been affixed to the backs of both letters in some places to support torn areas. $650 in cash or trade gets the collection. Please DM me if you're interested.
