Willie Galimore Bears Team Issued Signed 8x10

This is a team issued black and white 8x10 photo of Bears star running back Willie Galimore. A beautiful ball point signature with a dedication that reads "To Raymond/Best Wishes." This was signed a few months previous to Galimore's tragic death in an automobile accident while heading to Bears training camp in Rensselaer, Indiana prior to the 1964 season. He and team mate Bo Farrington were both killed in the accident.

There is no back damage, and there are no creases, bent corners or stray marks on the photo. You will never find a better example.

It was obtained by a 10 year old me during a signing at a C.E.T. appliance store in Dixmoor, Illinois. The store had a series of guests including a young Mike Ditka, Joe Fortunato, Ronnie Bull and Johnny Morris. I got to meet them all and have their signed photos (somewhere) as well.
