Picked up a few small scrapbook albums that contain 1910 to 1916 poster stamps and in one are these baseball images. They appear to be trimmed. They are not on card stock but are instead a thicker paper stock. Thicker than a magazine publication paper or say newspaper insert. The images are lithographic quality similar to carmel cards of the era.
My guess is that they are trimmed from some sort of poster or advertising piece but I cant recall ever seeing anything that is familar. Just curious if anyone recognizes what they are from ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I think those are notebook cover cut-outs from around the same era as T206. Others on here will know more about them.

They are known as 1910 W-UNC. They came on a sheet/notebook cover. I believe there may be a member or two that have uncut sheets.

Overall they do look brighter and more colorful than many of the Old Cardboard site examples in their gallery (might just be bad scans?). Two different notebook covers were issued, one featuring 13 players from the National League, and the other one featuring 13 American League players. It looks like you are only missing the Kling card to have a complete set of the 13 National League players. Nice find!

Thanks for everyone's input in identifying. The color on them is nice which is likely a result of them being put in the album shortly after being issued and not exposed to light and handling wear for 100+ years

They are on a cream colored paper, and as stated kind of flimsy. Thicker than notebook paper, but thinner than card stock. The three in the middle of each league, the big stars, are a bit wider as well. These used to show up at card shows back in the 1990s on rare occasion. I saw them twice, but they were cut and in penny savers. Haven't seen these in years, and frankly, never knew until now they were from notebook covers. The color scheme is much more vivid for the National Leaguers; really pops dramatically. The American Leaguers are darker for some reason. Perhaps because they were the back of the notebook?
