Default R423 strip cards

Revisiting some old threads on R423 13-card strip baseball cards. I have documented 22-different complete strips and one partial strip. Colors--orange, purple, green, dark green, red, and "blue."

Peter---was not aware of these. 1950 ? 120 baseball subjects ? Did the complete strips always involve one subject matter ( baseball, hockey, movie people). I think I read there was a variation of Cobb

Well--119 subjects because number 100 appears to be non-existent. Guide books indicate a 1950 date--but I think they have to be later as Konstanty (who I collect) would not have been selected for a set in 1950. 1951 or 1952 makes sense as he won the MVP in 1950. I have not researched the other players from the early 1950s. Cobb appears on two of the documented strips--one with a "signature" and one without.

The different types of strips do not mix and match the subjects. I have seen one strip that was 12 baseball and one actress (Tullalah Bankhead)--but am presuming that was a print/finishing mistake.

I have seen 5 different full/partial hockey strips all with light blue backs. I have not cataloged the actors/actresses strips at all.
