B. C. Edwards Game Used Bat

I recently picked up this B.C. Edwards game used Louisville Slugger that dates to 1925-1928. The problem I have is I can find no information about Edwards. Does anyone know who he played for and a position played. My google search came up empty. Thanks for any info.

Could it stand for Baseball Club Edwards?? I've seen side writing for clubs, not just players.

I guess that is possible but John specifically states it was used by Edwards. I'm guessing he was an obscure player and just does not show up in google searches but I'm sure some one on here knows who he was.

I just looked up B. Edwards at Baseball Reference and found two minor league players by that name from the late 1920s. One was a third baseman in the Mississippi Valley League, while the other was shortstop in the Western Association. There's no certainly that your bat belongs to either, but it's a start. They might also be the same player. Each played a full season.

Old baseball guides like the ones made by Reach and Spalding might help. There is a ton of info about minor league teams in them, along with team photos.
