Offering up this gorgeous Banks RC. Dead centered, no print marks, no creases, no wrinkles. I know asking price is above comps in the same grade but this card looks like a 6 or 7. Price includes Priority Shipping and assumes PPFF. PM with any questions.

Asking SOLD

Rare to see someone say a 1954 Banks is centered and it actually is! Awesome card.

So PSA just randomly grades better looking cards low for the helluvit. Plenty of white above his name as well.

Not at this time. I made a large purchase last month and am offsetting costs.

Certainly looks like a very nice 4. Has to be a wrinkle or something not showing up on the scans. You have the card in hand. I would look with a loupe for the issue that caused the grade. I doubt it was just a random low grade. The back appears to have some staining in the white. That may be the reason for the grade.

I've seen staining on 5's and 6's like this....not trying to be argumentative, but this looks like a complete "whiff".....like you said, probably something we can't see - but I can't see anything that would make this a "4"....

I totally agree it looks like a 6, 6.5, or possibly even a 7 from what we can see and I know the seller said there are no hidden issues but if he is correct I would just break it out and re-grade. Two grades higher would justify the cost to grade again as a 6 is worth about $2K more than a 4.

Agree….would love to see this card out of the holder in its raw state….

There are no creases or wrinkles. There’s the most miniscule of indents on the left hand side by his ear that’s barely visible and some edge wear by Banks’ butt. I’ve looked under a loupe.

Looks better than any 4's I have seen. There was one in a recent Mile High Card auction that sold for just under $1900 which is the highest comp and it looked close to the quality of yours based on the pictures on VCP.
