Default 1911 Western Playgound cards

I just purchased The Old Cardboard Magazine of 34 issues. I had all these magazines at one time it when I moved to Florida I sold them. Anyway just looked at the 1st issue which high Lights the 1911 Western Playground set. If anyone has one of these cards please post. Leon, you were noted in this issue because you had these cards. Still have them, if so post a picture front & Back. Thanks joe.

Phil, nice-looking card! I'd be willing to trade my Western Playground type card for/toward something I'd rather have - see my signature line below for some suggestions.

Thank you Val, I wish I had some of your list in my collection to send your way. Let me give it some thought though and I'll PM you.

That was my full set as the cover article. I sold those not too long after that first issue came out. Cool cards and I will probably pick up a type in the future.,

Just an FYI for any new folks to the sub, Leon put together what can be considered the finest type collection ever seen, check out his website and look up the collection. Truly an amazing collection of cards if you're a type collector.

I think he sold it to avoid going to jail, something about a Texas politicians neicet, that's just unverified scuttlebut though....
