1949 Cleveland Indians Picture Pack SIZE?
I have owned a few of these sets. Most have been 6.5x9 in size.
The last set I purchased was 6.5x8.5, and the photo quality was more grainy. It was in an original envelope. SGC returned it as COU / counterfeit. Fine. I was suspicious as soon as I bought it, because it was obviously different from my others. But the print still looked vintage as did the stock. I have seen others at that size however--including one listed on eBay currently. I wonder whether there were TWO issues of this set, and the 6.5x8.5 is not yet cataloged by PSA / SGC? I'm not sure who would go through the trouble to sell fakes with original envelopes. Does anyone have expertise on these?
