I've had these for a while, not sure when or where I got them. I'm looking to sell them now and have no idea how to describe or list them. I realize they aren't valuable. I trying to clean up all of my extra stuff laying around!
I did a Google search and also checked eBay but didn't find anything. Thanks!

I have a couple from this set but not the Musials. They are a cool find and they do have some value to them!

The batting pose of Musial is an M114 Baseball Magazine Supplement.
Here is one that recently sold on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/19495258758...p2047675.l2557 |

Those are great Musial items, and look to be in pretty decent shape. Surprised you would think they have little value. If you really are looking to clear them out, you should pop them up on the BST forum. I think you might be surprised what some will be willing to pay for them. Great finds, and good luck.

Check out Musial's number. It's not 6! In spring training of 1942, Musial wore 19 because Harry Walker had worn 6 the year before when he was called up in late 41. Walker took 10 when Mize was traded to the Giants and Musial took 6. Rest is history.

Might help explain dates:
https://www.sportscollectorsdaily.co...w602-and-w603/ Musial was not in set #1, which was issued November 1946. Musial was set 2. This is the pin-up from 1946: ![]()

Musial wore 6 for the few games he played in 41. Walker was first called up in 1940. He played in less than 10 games in 40 and 41. I can only assume he wasn't on the roster in 41 when Musial was called up as Musial was given #6 for his brief stint in 41. At spring training, Walker took 6 back, leaving Musial with 19. When Walker later opted for 10, Musial took 6 back. Interestingly, Walker was projected to be the next Cardinal superstar.

The one on the left is his 1946-49 W603. As others mentioned, the one on the right is his 1943 M114 and, IMO, his true rookie “card”. That image is the same one used on his 1946-47 Propagandas “rookie” card.
That explains why you’ve got ‘em Dan P., who had an amazing rookie card collection at one time…probably still do!
