| Does rarity help or hurt value?

Watercooler question with a coworker today. Does rarity help or hurt card value? For example, let's say you have a preward type card that is extremely rare. Does the rareness help or hurt the value, especially when you want to sell it? I am on the fence. I can see how popular player cards may help the value. But on the other hand, I can see cards that are so rare would have a much lower interest from the average collector. |
