Default Short Reggie?

Let me know what you think on this Jackson. Lower grade, VG maybe with corner problems and some stray print to the left of Reggie’s chin. Obviously diamond cut. It’s also upon closer inspection 1/32 short from side-to-side, measures out a perfect 3.5 inches T/B.

Would SGC grade this? I don’t see anything which suggests trimming to me. All edges are uniform with the cut, and the Diamond cut mirrors itself out from side to side. No way to tell obviously, but if you are trimming I would think you try to hide the diamond cut. I’m not really bothered either way, I got this for a bargain and have realized for some time that micro size differences such as 1/32 short (or sometimes big...) are more common than most people realize, even on postwar vintage.

Just curious as to current thought. I know SGC has told people in the past they will allow up to 1/16 off if they think the cut is genuine; I have no idea how PSA approaches this issue anymore. Regardless, this one would not be sent for grading. Thanks.

Default Short Reggie?

No takers? Whelp - ok. I realized via other research that the 1/32 discrepancy is probably kind of a moot point in this case, as anymore with PSA this would probably be an N8 Miscut anyway. A bit of a Frankenstein Reggie, but I've actually seen way worse diamond cuts on this card. I'm keeping it.
