Recently Discovered Historically Significant Baseball was discovered from the Nelson Nellie Fox Estate on 1-22-2022. I'm looking for any and all information regarding the Orange Baseballs that were sent to the Astrodome in April of 1965 by Charles O. Finley. Several articles have been printed about why Charles O. Finley sent Orange Baseballs to the "8th Wonder of the World" but in my research none have ever surfaced until now. You can find his 1970s orange Baseballs on the web fairly easily but 1965 was his very 1st prototype orange baseball approved by Mr. Finley himself to help the Astros locate the balls from the horrible glare and white panels. For the Nelson Fox family to keep this baseball over the years and display it definitely meant something to Nellie and the Astros. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks
