Star Lite Michael Jordan BGS ????Authenticity

Quick disclaimer; I Haven't attempted to have this graded in a few years but did submit it twice and got 'questionable authenticity' both times.

So with that said, with so many posts on Star Jordan cards lately, does anyone see a reason it's not authentic? I actually posted this card a few years ago, (link here) https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=184408

I didn't pay too much at the time ($100 or so) so it is what it is, but does anyone know why I got this grade? I tried to contact Beckett at the time but didn't get any really good information as to the dreaded ????authenticity.

Not sure if it’s the scanner but your looks a lot more purple on the front border than the dark blue these are.

Nope no good. Font and type set are off, particularly on the name on the back it almost runs together

Thank you! obviously not what I wanted to hear but I finally got an explanation as to why it got those 'questionable authenticity' non-grades.

I'm a pre-war collector first but I still plan on buying Star cards in the future, I'm thinking I should probably buy a group of commons first to get a better feel; this one really tricked me for some reason.

Thank you for taking a look - I can kind of see what you mean! Anyway, Beckett refused to grade it twice so I was figuring there must've seem something off with it.

Sorry for the late reply ...
The color looks way off. The card should be dark navy . This one has a almost a purple tint
